Is cat hair driving you crazy?  If so, let us help!  At Wichita Dog & Cat Hospital, we shave cats!  In addition to helping with cat dander, shaving reduces hair in your house.   Shaving may even reduce allergies to your pet. 

Shaving your cat is a simple process.  Most cats need a quick acting anesthesia to tolerate this procedure.  When the anesthesia is disconnected, the cat is awake in approximately three minutes.  Once the cat is shaved, we bathe in Aloe-Oatmeal Shampoo, which leaves your pet with a wonderful fresh scent. 

We'd like to have your cat as early as 7:30 AM and you may pick him/her up about noon or after.  If you'd like to leave your cat until closing, you may do so at no extra charge. 

For your cat's safety, we recommend pets over 6 years old have a pre-anesthetic blood profile to rule out any diseases of the kidney or liver prior to giving anesthesia.
